Quantitative detection of trace contaminants

The detection of trace contaminants by PCR for verifying “free-from” foods is a highly sensitive and specific tool. Currently, the laboratory performs quantitative determination of traces of material of ovine, avian, porcine, and equine origin in beef. It is also a tool that can be used for meat products with religious requirements, such as halal or kosher.
